R.A.N Tip of The Week! A Salad A Day

During this unprecedented time of COVID-19, I have been staying home and keeping it safe while stacking on the "unwanted" pounds due to lack of exercise and eating.

As spring begin to poke it's head, I took advantage of the warmer weather and covered up properly and began to get my walk on; but more importantly, I have made a conscious effort to avoid the starchy foods and ensure I had a salad a day. A salad a day, keeps the pounds away. ... Okay, maybe not, but we all know that eating your greens and sticking to healthier options (like salad!) help you shed pounds.

I kept it simple and used ingredients like avocado, Three Bean Salad, Salmon, Tuna, Sweet Potatoes and whatever vegetables of the day I had prepared on top of a bed of Spring Mix greens to create a variety of salads.  D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!

In addition, gone is the irritable colon and digestive issues I had been experiencing over a month ago when I ate foods that didn't agree with me.  No more pain, bloating and gas!  A salad a day and my green Seamoss Smoothies did that!
