R.A.N Tip of The Week! Fitness Motivation-Speed Walking

"Nice Leggs" said unknown shopper As I was unloading my car with returnable items in the Home Depot parking lot last week, an unknown shopper came up behind me and provided me with the best motivational compliment to keep me on my speed walking journey.

I'm not going to lie; there are times I do not feel like doing the 1 hour and 30 minutes of speed walking that includes many hills, but the results are worth it.

Also, your heart rate is elevated during speed walking. You can burn more calories this way than walking at your usual pace.... Speed walking doesn't burn as many calories as running, but it can be an effective workout to elevate your heart rate, boost your mood, tighten and toning and improve your aerobic fitness level.
