ROC'N Wednesday! Did Someone Call The Street Doctor?

We certainly did and we are super excited to have Dr. Jacquelyn Wilson, CEO, Executive Director, Award winning Motivational, and Keynote Speaker stand in as Mistress of Ceremony at the Black History Month: Celebrating Unsung Community Service Leaders event, Thursday, February 27, 2020! This free community and cultural event is in honor of Black History Month and is hosted by and in collaboration with the African-American Community and JCC Beacon Program at I.S. 49, 101 Warren St, Staten Island, NY 10304 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Dr. Jacquelyn Wilson is on a mission. As CEO of Mynding My Own Bizness® Entertainment, she Executive produced the three-time, award-winning short film, The Bully, winner of HBO presents, for its powerful message against bullying and intolerance. The movie led to the development of The Stop Bullying Project®. Dr. Wilson is Founder and Executive Director of #SurpriseTheStruggling™ Inc., a global hashtag movement reaching across the globe. Dr. Wilson assists women and teen girls through the transitions of homelessness. She and Ambassadors provide purses filled with toiletries and other necessary hygienic items. In conjunction with The Doctor Wilson Leadership Academy, #SurpriseTheStruggling™ also provides monthly Tea Huddles for women in transition, offering them a place to regroup and gain information on what they need to move forward in their lives. The Tea Huddles are taking place in various cities across the United States. Dr wilson also facilitates a (Clarity Coaching) workshop for beginner entrepreneurs “For the community” twice a month in the SI mall at the emblem health space! Dr. Wilson has received numerous accolades and awards for her philanthropic and humanitarian work in the community. She is the recipient of eight NYC Council Citations. 2019 recipient of the triumphant woman speaker of the year award, L’Oréal’s woman of worth finalist 2019 Dr wilson also Host a (Grief Circle) for woman & men experiencing the loss of a love one.
