Autumn is here and Fall is on it's way. This is the perfect time to opt for riding your bike and use your car less.
Riding your bike also allows you to support the clean air initiative to decrease the pollution in the air. Cars put out a lot of exhaust, which pollutes the air, and riding your bike uses nothing but your own muscle power. Also, it requires much less energy to produce a bike than it does to manufacture a car...Studies have shown that biking on a regular basis can reduce the effects of depression and anxiety disorders.
Since I had to drop off several
Roc-A-Natural packages at my local United States Postal Service and pick up a few items at Market Fresh, I decided today would be a good day to use my two wheelers as an alternate mode of transportation. I layered up and put on my padded bikers shorts for extra comfort and put air in the wheels and was riding high.
I felt great as I got my Roc-A-Natural fitness on and worked up a hearty appetite to boot! I returned home and whipped up a delicious vegetable salad with ingredients I picked up from the grocery store and washed it all down with my refreshing mint and cucumber water.
