Thank You! 2019 Kwanzaa Celebration & Kujichagulia Marketplace

I would like to give a heartfelt "Thank You" to Principal Bruschi, Director Ham and Assistant Director Williams for your collaboration and support of the 2nd Annual Kwanzaa Celebration & Kujichagulia Marketplace on Friday, December 27, 2019 at I.S. 49! A special "Thank You" to Superintendent Shirley McKinney, Deputy Superintendent Lorena Harris and Staff at the African Burial Ground National Monument, 290 Broadway, New York, NY for the exhibit loan of the Kinara! This beautiful artifact made our Kwanzaa Celebration that much more special. "Thank You" to NYC Parks & Recreation for the use of their portable stage! We greatly appreciated your efforts and support. A huge "THANK YOU" to the community supporters, performers, educators, vendors, volunteers, school safety and attendees whose participation was vital to the success of this event!
