Thank You NYCID!

"The NYCID family is proud to support Juneteenth Freedom Festival at Tappen Park and Juneteenth Freedom Parade. Roc-A-Natural Cultural Foundation Inc. works day in and day with fierce love and commitment to bring health, art, and culture into the everyday lives of Staten Islanders and beyond. Let us all join together to make this vital historical celebration yet another Roc-A-Natural success!" Said Michael DeVito, Jr.

On behalf of Roc-A-Natural Cultural Foundation Inc and in collaboration with Friends Who Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Organization, Jason Price and Shaolin Ryders, we would like to give a huge THANK YOU to New York Center for Interpersonal Development (NYCID) for becoming a Gold Sponsor in support of the Juneteenth Freedom Parade & Freedom Festival at Tappen Park, Bay Street, (between Water and Canal Streets), Staten Island, NY 10304, Saturday, June 17, 2023!

Your generous dollars will assist with the heavy lift and success of this culturally developed and "edu-taining" event to commemorate and educate attendees of when the news of liberation for people of African descent came to Texas on June 19, 1865.

Join us for Juneteenth Freedom Parade, Saturday, June 17, 2023, 11:00am to 6:00pm.  Register here:

This year's Juneteenth Freedom Parade is significant because we will be marching on Bay Street and through the Rosebank Corridor, which historically, in the 60's through the 80's, people of color were at risk of being beaten if they tried to step foot in Rosebank. On June 17, 2023, we are thrilled to be standing united with our neighboring communities,  several organizations and more to march through these liberated streets as we commemorate and celebrate the oldest celebration of Freedom in the United States, Freedom Day.

TAP IN at Tappen Park!!!

Bring your lawn chairs and sit front and center at the Juneteenth Freedom Festival at Tappen Park, Bay & Canal Streets,  Staten Island,  NY 10304 from 11am to 6pm for a  culturally developed and "edu-taining" Juneteenth commemoration and celebration. Click here for schedule:
