R.A.N Tip of The Week! Who Are The CCRB?

Have you ever wondered who are the city agency CCRB - Civilian Complaint Review Board?


Thanks to Mr. Prince Cobbina, Representative of CCRB, 100 Church Street, New York, N.Y. for becoming a Resource Vendor at the Juneteenth Freedom Festival on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Tappen Park.


The CCRB are to educate the community about their mandate to investigate, mediate, hear, make findings, and recommend action on complaints against New York City police officers alleging the use of excessive or unnecessary force, abuse of authority, discourtesy, or the use of offensive language. 


Be sure to stop by Mr. Cobbina's resource table to learn how he may be able to assist you as you remember and celebrate Freedom Day and commemorating when the news of liberation for people of African descent came to Texas on June 19, 1865.
