ROC'N Wednesday! It's The King's Birthday

Happy Birthday Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.! Today is the birthday of Dr. King and I took today to reflect on his life and all that he stood for. Prior to his untimely death in 1968, Dr. King's leadership during the Civil Rights Movement established the foundation for generations of every race, religion, and gender to become leaders of the "free world" today. Although the nation will be observing Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, January 20, 2020 which will mark the 25th anniversary of the day of service that celebrates the Civil Rights leader’s life and legacy as “a day on, not a day off,” MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service. The purpose is to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions to social problems, and move us closer to Dr. King's vision of a "Beloved Community." As the Founder and C.E.O of Roc-A-Natural, I continue to pay homage to Dr. King because of HIM... I ROC because I have a voice to continue to fight for equality & justice. I ROC because I am able to aspire to live like a Queen. I ROC because I get to live a life filled with many blessings and make a difference. I ROC because I inspire others to do the same and transform their life to live in a natural state of mind. I ROC because I was able to see a Black man become President of the United States and lead for two terms. I ROC because I AM free & able to become an entrepreneur. I ROC because I AM Roc-A-Natural! Share with us your plans for volunteering to improve your community this MLK Day of Service. For events happening in your area, send an email to ran@rocanatural.com.
